About the Role
NTT DATA is hiring Level 1 Network Engineers for their Mumbai office. This is a full time role open to candidates with a BE, BTech, or MCA degree and a valid CCNA certification or equivalent networking qualification. You will be working on monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure for NTT DATA’s global enterprise clients in a 24×7 shift based environment.
This role is ideal for network engineering professionals who have strong networking fundamentals, a CCNA certification, and are comfortable working in rotational shifts to support critical network operations for global clients around the clock.
What You Will Work On
- Monitoring and managing network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls for global enterprise clients
- Providing Level 1 technical support and troubleshooting for network related incidents and service requests
- Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving basic to intermediate network connectivity and performance issues
- Escalating complex network issues to Level 2 and Level 3 support teams with detailed documentation
- Logging and tracking network incidents and service requests accurately in the ticketing system
- Performing routine network health checks, monitoring, and maintenance activities
- Supporting configuration and deployment of network devices as per client requirements
- Maintaining accurate and up to date network documentation and topology records
- Collaborating with global network operations teams on incident resolution and problem management
- Continuously building networking knowledge and staying updated with latest networking technologies
