About the Program
Volvo Group is hiring Graduate Apprentice Trainees for their Supplier Quality department in Bangalore under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme known as NATS. This program is open to freshers with a BE or BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgy, or Material Science who are looking to gain their first real world professional experience in supplier quality management at a globally respected manufacturing company.

What You Will Work On
- Supporting supplier quality management and assurance activities at Volvo Group Bangalore
- Assisting in inspection, testing, and evaluation of components and materials from suppliers

- Analyzing supplier quality data and preparing detailed quality reports for internal teams
- Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier quality issues

- Learning and applying quality management standards like IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 in real work settings
- Maintaining accurate documentation of supplier quality inspections, findings, and corrective actions

- Developing a strong understanding of Volvo’s global supplier quality standards and engineering requirements
Who Can Apply – Eligibility Criteria
- Completed BE or BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgy, or Material Science from a recognized university
- Freshers are welcome — no prior work experience required
- Basic understanding of quality management and engineering inspection concepts
- Knowledge of engineering drawing interpretation and dimensional measurement is an advantage
- Familiarity with quality tools like FMEA, 8D, or root cause analysis is a plus
