Technical Author
This role involves writing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation including service manuals, repair procedures, owner manuals, and engineering specifications for automotive products and systems for KPIT’s global automotive clients.
What You Will Work On
- Creating accurate technical illustrations and diagrams of automotive components and systems
- Authoring and maintaining parts catalogues and spare parts documentation for global automotive clients
- Writing and editing technical service manuals, repair guides, and engineering documentation
- Collaborating with engineering teams and subject matter experts to gather technical information
- Ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance of all technical documentation with client standards
- Using specialized technical authoring and illustration software tools for documentation development
- Supporting localization and translation of technical documentation for global markets
- Reviewing and updating existing technical documentation to reflect product changes and updates

Who Can Apply – Eligibility Criteria
- Completed Engineering degree from a recognized university in any relevant discipline
- Freshers are welcome — no prior work experience required
- Good understanding of engineering concepts and technical documentation principles
