About the Role
Sharpsell.ai is hiring a Backend Engineer for their Bangalore office. This is a full time role open to candidates with around 1 year of hands on experience in backend development. You will be building and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that power Sharpsell.ai’s AI driven sales enablement platform used by thousands of sales professionals across India.
This role offers a competitive salary package of 6 LPA to 10 LPA and comes with the flexibility of working from office with work from home options available as needed.
What You Will Work On
- Designing and developing scalable backend systems and REST APIs using Python
- Managing and optimizing databases using MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Building and maintaining backend services that support Sharpsell.ai’s AI platform
- Working on Linux based server environments for application deployment and management
- Collaborating with frontend engineers and product teams on new feature development
- Debugging and resolving backend issues to ensure high system performance and reliability
- Writing clean, efficient, and well documented code for production applications
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to engineering best practices
- Supporting continuous integration and deployment of backend services
- Staying updated with the latest trends in backend development and AI technology
Who Can Apply – Eligibility Criteria
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Around 1 year of hands on experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language
- Good experience working with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Familiarity with Linux operating system and server management
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
