The TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT) is a gateway for fresh graduates to join TCS under Prime, Digital, and Ninja hiring categories.

Eligibility Criteria

Highest Qualification
Open for Batch 2024, 2025, and 2026 candidates:

  • B.Tech / B.E
  • M.Tech / M.E
  • MCA
  • M.Sc / M.S

Degree must be from AICTE / UGC recognized universities or colleges.

Academic Aggregate

  • Minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA in:
    • Class 10
    • Class 12
    • Diploma (if applicable)
    • Graduation
    • Post-Graduation (if applicable)
  • Degree/Provisional certificate must clearly mention First-Class within the stipulated course duration.

Backlogs / Arrears / ATKT
No pending backlogs at the time of selection process.

Extended Education
Course must be completed within the stipulated duration.

Gap / Break in Education
Academic gap should not exceed 24 months until highest qualification.
Gaps must be declared with valid documents.

Course Type
Only full-time courses are eligible.
Part-time / Correspondence courses are not eligible.

Open Schooling
Candidates from NIOS are eligible if Graduation and Post-Graduation are completed full-time.

Work Experience
Up to 2 years of work experience allowed.

Age Limit
18 to 28 years.

Prime Candidates

Digital Candidates

  • Solution development and system integration projects
  • Work on modern technologies and product initiatives

Ninja Candidates

Test Pattern

Part A – Foundation Section (75 Minutes)

  • Numerical Ability – 25 mins
  • Verbal Ability – 25 mins
  • Reasoning Ability – 25 mins

Part B – Advanced Section (115 Minutes)

  • Advanced Quantitative & Reasoning – 25 mins
  • Advanced Coding – 90 mins

Total Duration: 190 Minutes

Test Date: 10 March 2026 onwards
